With every decision we make, we consciously invest in a livable future – ecologically, economically, and with long-term impact in mind. A visible sign of this commitment is our new battery storage system with a capacity of 711 kWh, which has recently been successfully connected to the grid.
Our battery storage system charges in the early morning hours with cost-effective grid electricity and during the day with solar energy from our photovoltaic systems. When needed, it supplies stored power directly to our production processes. This not only optimizes our energy consumption, but also supports the integration of renewable energy into the grid and helps reduce strain on the overall infrastructure.
In doing so, we’re not only sending a clear message for sustainable business practices, but we're also among the first companies in the region to operate a battery storage system of this size – marking another milestone on our path toward greater responsibility and future readiness.
