We had to cope with an unusual task: an automatic X-ray station for horses.
The requirements were very challenging:
- smooth position adjustment, so that the animals are not frightened
- even synchronous running, so that the X-ray unit is exactly opposite
- unsupported stability under high load - the axle systems have a free length of 3000 mm
- easy cleaning of the systems
For this application we used our proven portal linear units HSB-gamma® 280-ZSS and 280-ZSSD.
